Greg Tillar, President & CEO
Greg serves as a Director, President & CEO of the Company. He has successfully launched multiple businesses over his 25 years of providing executive management and leadership to emerging businesses. While his expertise is in building and developing technology-based companies, he has also successfully led organizations in the recreation, advertising, non-profit, Internet and manufacturing sectors. Greg has held both domestic and international executive management positions. Most recently, he developed the business strategy and sales/product and technology platform for an online portal company, while also creating a software product rapidly gaining acceptance in the lucrative eLearning market. In addition, Greg served as an equity participant and management executive in the formation and launch of a publishing and advertising company, which resulted in a cash acquisition by a larger NASDAQ-100 company in only 24 months.
For nearly 10 years, Greg served as president and chief operating officer of a publicly traded optical media manufacturer, where he participated in two rounds of public equity offerings, eventually raising more than $25 million. As a member of the board of directors for this high tech manufacturer, Greg led the company’s sales, manufacturing, information technology, marketing and organizational development areas, as the company regularly posted 40 percent compounded annual revenue gains during his tenure. Greg also served as vice president of sales for an international provider of business-to-business networking products and services during the online industry’s infancy, providing strategic direction and leadership for the sales function of nearly 30 worldwide offices. A pioneer in the sales of corporate network systems, revenue for this company grew from $8 million to more than $75 million annually under his direction.
Dale McClintock, Founder & Chief Product Officer
Dale is the Founder and Director of Rivet Digital. Dale spent 21 years successfully launching and growing several audiovisual technology and display related companies. These companies included Avstar, Inc. in 1980, which quickly became the Central Ohio leader in the design/engineering and installation of sophisticated audio-visual systems for Corporate Board Rooms, Training Rooms, and Auditoriums. In 1984 he started Audio Image, a successful Professional Audio equipment sales business that was sold in 1989 to the key management of the company. In 1990, along with 4 other investors, he formed Audio Visual Technologies and acquired 2 companies: Avstar, Inc., which he founded, and Mid America Audio Visual Inc., another Central Ohio company that specialized in the sales and rental of audio visual equipment. The combining of the design/engineering expertise of Avstar successfully complemented the equipment sales and rental services of Mid America AV. In 1993 Dale started Behind the Scene, a display, exhibit and scenery company. Finally, in 1998, he successfully merged Behind the Scene with Audio Visual Technologies and formed FusionArts. It was out of his broad audio-visual systems experience that Dale founded Rivet Digital, LLC.
Alex Deak, Vice President, Client Services
Alex Deak is the former vice president and chief technology officer of a high tech international manufacturing
company, having worked as a member of its Executive Operations Team for more than four years. As part of a
NuGrowth Partners engagement team, he currently serves as President of an eLearning services company.
Deak has also worked in sales and corporate product management for CompuServe.
His accomplishments have garnered Alex recognition as one of the most innovative chief information officers in the United States. Along with three other leading chief information officers, Deak was named in a January 1999 PC Week cover article as one of a “New Breed” of CIO’s. The executives featured in the article represent models of innovation, flexibility and creativity in tackling the myriad and complex problems of running information technology and MIS departments inside today’s corporations.
Deak’s community involvement includes being president of CIVIC, which provides information management services to the nonprofit community in Columbus. He also sits on the University of Dayton’s MIS Advisory Board, which provides guidance to students on careers and professional development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA, both from the University of Dayton.
Paul Lambert, Chief Technology Officer
Paul serves as Chief Technology Officer for Rivet Digital after a 27-year career in the computer and network services industry. Joining CompuServe in 1973, Paul was involved in the growth of that company from a small timesharing operation to one of the largest and most respected information and network services companies in the world. He held a variety of leadership positions at CompuServe, culminating his career as Vice-President and Chief Technical Officer of CompuServe Network Services (CNS). Subsequent to the acquisition of CNS by Worldcom, Lambert was named Vice-President and General Manager of Global Hosting Services at UUNET, a Worldcom company.
